BUMPER PROGRAMME FOR CELTIC VISIT

Finn Harps have produced a bumper limited edition 52-page programme for the visit of Celtic for Monday’s glamour friendly at Finn Park.

Inside the programme, you can read the views of Harps manager Paul Hegarty and his Celtic counterpart Willie McStay.

There are features on former Celtic players Danny McGrain (who will be part of the Celtic backroom staff for the trip to Donegal) and Lisbon Lions Captain Billy McNeill.

Chris McNulty speaks with Harps players James Gallagher and Declan Boyle who look back at their early careers when they were Celtic players.

There is also a feature on Donegal’s connections with Celtic, which go right back to the formation of the Glasgow club in 1888.

Read the interviews with three up and coming Celtic players – Irishmen Darren O’Dea and Cillian Sheridan and Icelandic International Teddy Bjarnason.  All three players made their Celtic debuts last season, with O’Dea playing a staring role in the Champions League last sixteen tie with AC Milan.

Bartley Ramsay looks back at Celtic’s previous five visits to Finn Park.

Other features include profiles of the Harps squad, Harping On, a review of Celtic’s 2006-07 season, Twin Towns Celtic Supporters Club and much, much more.

Programme editor Joe Doherty said that the programme will be a collectors item.  “Programmes for Celtic friendly games usually become collectors items and Monday’s will be no different.  We have put a lot of work into the programme over the past two or three weeks, so hopefully everyone at the game will enjoy reading it.”

Priced at €5, the programme is a must for all Finn Harps and Celtic fans.  Make sure you pick up your copy.  Any programmes not sold will be available to purchase through the Finn Harps website from Tuesday 7th August.
