Celtic Confirm Several First Teamers to Visit Ballybofey
Celtic FC have confirmed to Finn Harps a number of the players who will entertain the capacity crowd at Finn Park in the Northwest Timberframe Homes sponsored friendly match on Bank Holiday Monday at 7.30pm.
The Glasgow Giants had committed to bringing as strong a team as possible to Donegal and have been delighted with the interest in the game in what they see as a stronghold of support. Accordingly, Finn Harps Chairman John Campbell was delighted to be informed this afternoon of some of the household names who will feature in Finn Park.
Celtic first teamers Gary Caldwell, Stephen Pressley and Adam Virgo as well as fans favorite Bobo Balde and Irish International Darren O Dea will be among the defenders tasked with keeping Conor Gethins and Stephen Parkhouse in check.
Paul Lawson, former Danish International Midfielder Thomas Graveson and ex Ajax man Evander Sno will do battle with Tony Shields and Wizard McGowan in the middle of the field, while Beclan Boyle and Jonathan Minnock will have to be on their toes to keep tabs on Irish Under19 International Diarmuid O Carroll and 2005 Scottish Young Player of the year Derek Riordan.
