Finn Harps must travel to Belfield Park to take on UCD after the draw was make this evening for the quarter-finals of the eircom League of Ireland Cup.  The two clubs have never met before in the League Cup and this will be the first meeting in any Cup competition since 1998 – when a Shane Bradley goal was enough for Harps to beat hosts UCD in the quarter-finals of the FAI Cup.  This game was also the last time that Harps managed to beat the students on their own patch.

Elsewhere, holders Derry City must make the long midweek trip to Cobh to face Ramblers.  Shamrock Rovers have received home advantage against the only other First Division club in the competition, Athlone Town.  The final tie sees Bohemians face Cork City.

The games will be played on Monday/Tuesday 2nd/3rd July.
