Harps Launch New Shirts
March 13, 2006
On Saturday evening, Finn Harps launched their new look kits for the 2006
season. Recently, the outcome of a poll amongst supporters meant a change
to the more traditional blue shirt for the new season. The away kit, which
was kept under wraps until Saturday, will see Harps line out 'Brazil style'
with yellow shirts, blue shorts and white socks.
At the launch on Saturday where the kits were modelled by first team
players Shaun McGowan and Chris Breen, the winners of the recent Shirt
Sponsor promotion also got a look at their companies name on the shirts for
the first time. Harley's Cheers Bar will appear on the front of the shirt,
Borderloo Toilet Hire on the back of the shirt and Ulster Bank on the
players shorts. McCarron's Quality Butchers will appear on one sleeve,
while NAS Scaffolding will have their logo on the other sleeve.
Replica shirts will also be available in the Club Shop at the next home
game, against Kilkenny City on Saturday 25th March.
Attached, is a photograph of all the shirt sponsors along with Shaun
McGowan in the new blue shirt and Chris Breen in the 'Brazil Style' away
shirt.
