Pint-sized Alan is a brother of Conor Gethins, who is currently on loan to Galway United and possesses similar goal-scoring prowess.

The lively frontman came to the Ulster Senior League team last year and was that side's top scorer with five goals. ‘Chuckie' as he is more commonly known, graduated to U21 level this year although he still turns out for the USL side regularly.
