James has come to Finn Park from the hugely successful Fanad United U18 side which cleaned up in the honours stakes at the local level last season and will be hoping for similar success at Harps. He had previously turned out for Harps in the 2005 Foyle Cup.

James plays in defence and is comfortable either in the middle or at right-back and has excelled since making the move to the Twin Towns culminating in him sitting on the bench for the first team in recent weeks.

Highly regarded by the coaching staff at the club, James has a bright future ahead of him.
