Michael returned to the club in the middle of the season as a goalkeeping crisis saw Harps requiring his services for the away fixture with Shamrock Rovers and has remained at the club since, becoming James Gallagher's number 2 in the absence of Gavin Cullen.

Michael has a wealth of experience despite his young age having represented the Donegal Senior GAA team on the big stage.
