Yet another of the players to arrive at Finn Park prior to the start of the 2006 season, Davitt signed for Harps from Derry City where he spent the 2005 season as part of their under-21 side. A former Fanad United player, Davitt has impressed in the pre-season games which he has played in and scored his first goal in the 3-2 victory over Institute.
