Shane is a native of Stranorlar and grew up as a Harps supporter and used to sell programmes outside the ground, before taking up his position on the terraces. Signed for Harps in December 1996 from Ulster Senior League side Fanad United, also played for Drumkeen United and Convoy Arsenal. Can play up front as a make-shift striker but more comfortable in the centre of defence. Scores his fair share of goals and has scored more goals for Harps than any of the current squad.
