Finn Harps v Derry City – Dr. Tony O'Neill Under-21 League

Sean 'Wizard' McGowan's under-21 side get their 2007 Dr. Tony O'Neill League campaign underway on Sunday afternoon next when they take on near neighbours Derry City at Finn Park (kick-off 3.00pm).

The two sides have already met twice this season in the Under-21 Elite Cup competition and both sides registered 1-0 away victories. In the first meeting between the two sides at the Finn Valley Centre in Stranorlar, a second half goal was enough to give Derry the victory.

Last month, a Shaun McGowan goal in the Brandywell Showgrounds was enough to avenge that defeat. Harps have a fine record in the under-21 League over the past number of years.

Although last year was a disappointing season, the second-string Harps side have finished top of the table in each of the previous two seasons.
